Article 3.0 Personal information that this website collects and why we collect it

This website collects and uses personal information for the following reasons:

Article 3.1 Site visitation tracking

Like most websites, this site uses Google Analytics (GA) to track user interaction. Crunch Analytics uses this data to determine the number of people using the site, to better understand how they find and use web pages and to see their journey through the website. Although GA records data such as your geographical location, device, internet browser and operating system, none of this information personally identifies you. GA also records your computer’s IP address which could be used to personally identify you but Google does not grant access to this. Crunch Analytics considers Google to be a third party data processor (see section 6.0 below).

Article 3.2 Email newsletter

If you choose to join the Crunch Analytics email newsletter, the email address that you submit will be saved in our website CMS database and forwarded to MailChimp who provide us with email marketing services. We consider MailChimp to be a third party data processor (see section 5.0 below). Your email address will remain within our CMS and MailChimp’s database for as long as we continue to use MailChimp’s services for email marketing or until you specifically request removal from the list. You can do this by unsubscribing using the unsubscribe links contained in any email newsletters that we send you or by requesting removal via email.

Article 3.3 Landing Pages

On the website of Crunch Analytics, content related to the business services will be made available for download. To be able to do so, you will need to submit your name, surname, email, company you work for and any other relevant information. Crunch Analytics shall only use this information to contact you for purposes regarding business development and potential cooperations and will not automatically opt you in for a newsletter or any other promotional mailing.

Article 3.4 Vacancies

On a regular basis vacancies will be published on the Crunch Analytics website. If you decide to apply for one of these vacancies and submit your personal information like name, surname, address, curriculum vitae and any other relevant information, then Crunch Analytics will only process that information for purposes related to filling that vacancy. From the moment the vacancy is filled, your CV will be kept for a maximum of three years in our systems as a way of managing a recruitment pool for future vacancies.

Article 4.0 Social Media

For marketing purposes, Crunch Analytics uses Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter to post content related to the Crunch Analytics data consulting business activities. Any comments you post on these channels or contact you make with us through these channels, will not be stored or processed in any way by Crunch Analytics outside of these platforms.

Article 5.0 Our third party data processors

Crunch Analytics uses a number of third parties to process personal data. These third parties have been carefully chosen and all of them comply with the legislation set out in section 2.0.

Article 6.0 Data breaches

Crunch Analytics will report any unlawful data breach of this website’s database or the database(s) of any of the third party data processors to all relevant persons and authorities within 72 hours of a breach, if it is apparent that personal data stored in an identifiable manner has been stolen.
